Last Minute Christmas Gifts

Right so we’ve got 8 SLEEPS until the big day. The day that I personally dream of ALL year- I love everything about Christmas, except for when it ends. If you’re slightly less enthusiastic as myself then you might not quite enjoy Christmas shopping to the same extent I do… see my Christmas Organisation for details. If you’re yet to get stuck into it all yet- then I admire your craziness- you might find some ideas here. I’ve done a selection of things that are easy to pick up and quick to get hold of for your loved ones before the 25th.

Right, so I am going to begin with quite a pricey gift but they are usually REALLY quick to get your hands on- I’m talking 10mins. TICKETS. Tickets for everything and anything is a great present. Football games like England, their favourite comedian, musician or check out your local theatre to see if any of their favourites are coming soon. They are good for EVERYONE- dads, boyfriends, girlfriends, sisters- you just need to pick the right event. It can be expensive having to buy two tickets, but it is a gift that is often really appreciated because you are ultimately giving them your time. You can buy them immediately online, depending on demand, and then simply write it in a card and DONE. FOOD is another equally quick gift, stick some of those Christmas chocolates in there- they are a gift that is almost guaranteed to be enjoyed. Whether you’re picking up a quick box of heroes at the petrol station or making a quick batch of cookies- food is always a winner.

Cute picture from ‘Not on the High Street’- definitely a great place to look for Festive gifts but REMEMBER TO: check the delivery date!

If you have been blessed with Amazon Prime then you really don’t need to panic, hunt down that ‘Prime Tick’ and go crazy. Pick from DVDs, CDs and all of that good stuff to get yourself a quick gift. If you have to go old school then supermarkets are a great place to get some last minute gifts, whether it be Beauty sets made up of some body spray, nail polish and face masks for your friend who is always on the go, or a Relaxation kit with  a big mug, hot chocolate and a good book! Get creative with it, even if it is rushed doesn’t mean you don’t have to put any thought into it!

Hopefully you have gained some ideas from this post and you’re maybe feeling slightly less anxious about the potentially daunting process of buying everything in the next 8 days. There are pros and cons to either way you approach your Christmas shopping, but this is definitely a risky time because you cannot be relying on deliveries up to Christmas eve- I couldn’t take that. I have one more post coming before Christmas on Thursday- so hopefully see you then!

Happy shopping and may the Christmas delivery odds be ever in your favour!
